Abilities:
Lyfe Cleric: As a cleric of Lyfe, Florentia has tremendous healing and protection magic. She is able to form strong, durable, long-lasting magical barriers. The moon and stars make her powers even stronger. To strengthen er spells, Florentia may pray to Lyfe for further strength.
Stoneform (also weakness): As a gargoyle, Florentia turns to stone if struck by the sun. However, it should be noted that she has mastered the ability to passively channel Lyfe’s magic through her statue form with a passive barrier/ward around the area she is staying at. When she allows herself to turn to stone (often to hibernate and rest), she enters a prayer stance as the sun's rays hit her, as to maintain the barrier around where she is staying at.
Well-Armed Cleric: Lyfe is no stranger to war, and neither are his clerics. While Florentia abhors combat, she understands that if something threatens her patients or nearby children, she knows which end of the spear gets stuck in their face.
Gifted Singer: Florentia is a capable singer, and loves singing to children and for herself. She loves theater as well as hymns and psalms to the gods.
Significant physical capabilities: While she is not experienced in combat, Florentia has hefty amounts of strength and speed due to her species.
Weaknesses:
Nocturnal: As a gargoyle, Florentia can only operate outside during the night, as mentioned in her abilities.
Naïve: Florentia is gullible and easily guilted, and can be convinced to tend to the wounded of even her enemies. Furthermore, she is extremely hesitant to draw her weapon unless there is a clear and present danger.
Inexperienced Warrior: Florentia is inexperienced in combat, and thus cannot wield her weapons with as much efficiency as a veteran. As listed above, her naivete also contributes to her ineffective combat skills.
Profile:
Raised in a Temple of Lyfe, Florentia has grown up within the safety of her temple’s order. However, given the war raging across the land, Florentia heeded the call of the wounded protectors of the Felnova, and now finds herself traveling from stronghold to stronghold, tending to the wounded.
Sheltered and naïve, Florentia is gentle-hearted in spite of her size, and has to often be protected from her own naivete by her companions. Otherwise, she is often tempted to heal the wounds of her enemies as well, as suffering in any creature deeply discomforts her.
