Persphitia
Dancer with the Dead
"My friends want to come out and play...won't you join us?"
BASICS
Name: Persephitia
Species: Gnome/Dwarf
Gender: Female
APPEARANCE
Persphitia has the skull of a minotaur carved out as a helmet adorning her head – given her tiny height of two and a half feet, it seems quite comical, especially when one sees her ivory hammer, which easily taller than her standing about 3’ with the head being as wide as her head. With wild fiery red locks that go down to her waist contrasting against her deathly white flesh, and crazy-wide red iris eyes, she looks more like a lunatic than the crazed necromancer that she is.
ABILITIES
WEAKNESS
BACKGROUND
Persephita had always been fascinated by the dead, even when she was very young, and would often find herself drawn to graveyards. As a result of this odd behavior, she was shunned from society, and often kept the company of what most people thought were imaginary friends.
Few believed that she might, just maybe, be speaking to the dead.
In truth, Persephitita had a natural affinity for necromancy, and her reiatsu was a natural placater of the dead. The bones would jitter when she was near, and corpses would often rise to dance with her.
Soon, the truth of this was revealed to the village. They also saw this as a boon, and she soon became a shaman of these people. Suddenly, she was loved by the living.
Then, one day, she summoned a spirit – a spirit that termed himself “Cloud.”
Cloud taught her the finer points of necromancy, and often would listen to her woes – subtlely hinting that perhaps, just maybe, the village was using her. Why else would they suddenly have a change of heart? Maybe, in reality, they only saw her as a tool. She was still the “weird girl” who talked to the bones of the dead.
As such, Persephitia grew colder and more wary of the everyman – and everyone picked up on it, and in turn became wary of her. Rumors were abound that she had been possessed by evil spirits.
Thankfully, Cloud warned her of an alleged plot to burn her at the stake. She escaped to a sanctuary where she would meet others like herself, taken care of by Orochi. Orochi allegedly accepted her as she was, and increased her power over necromancy via the mortrae’vinn process. Now she serves him as one of his mortrae'vinn.

ABILITIES
- Necroforging: Persephitia’s ability lays within her ability to twist necromantic reiatsu to her whims. Binding metalworking and necromancy, Persphitia is able to reforge any corpses and remains she comes across into a new form. In addition, she is able to launch magically forged corpse constructs at the enemy, such as bone spears and whole corpses primed with disease ridden explosions. Any actively controlled necromantic constructs draw upon her reiatsu pool – the more she uses, the more quickly she burns out. Additionally, the more complex and powerful the construct, the more reiatsu she consumes. Thankfully, with Orochi’s blessing, she has plenty of this.
- Magic: Persphitia is also excellent with magic as well, though most of her non-necromancy spells are not refined.
WEAKNESS
- Tiny Tot: Persphitia is a child of a gnome and a dwarf – as such, she’s tiny – even with the dwarven blood, she is not adept at physical combat. While it is difficult to reach her given her control over the undead, she is helpless in straight up melee combat.
- Weakness to Fire/Light: Messing around with the undead has given Persphitia some of the same weaknesses as the undead. Consecrated weapons, fire, and the like are all dangerous to her.
