Kuzeztil
Duscae Herd Zelda'nn Warrior
BASICS
Name: Kuzeztil
Species: Unicorn; Desert
Gender: Male
Name: Kuzeztil
Species: Unicorn; Desert
Gender: Male
APPEARANCE
20% MORE FABULOUS.
In all seriousness, Kuzeztil's neck, rump, and tail are more reminiscent of the lovechild of a peacock, horse, and a magestorm. His head is covered in similar feathers involving beautiful aquarmarines, turquoises, lime greens and dancing white sparks – with his black face poking out – as if an ebony beauty flaunting an extravagant costume. Around his muscular equine neck is a shimmering, prismatic necklace of what appears to be seashells. While a little smaller than the average equus, Kuzeztil enters larger than life, and is the very image of flamboyance and eccentricity with an unhealthy dose of confidence, strutting about tall and proud.

ABILITIES
- “Bring the thunder? I AM the Thunder!:” Kuzeztil's magic specializes in lightning and wind, as well as magic which boosts his already impressive speed. While he can utilize these for direct strikes, he loves to use these to make flashy entrances, and draw attention to himself in order to impress mares and the rest of the Duscae herd. Thundering steps, walking on air, Kuzeztil aims to dazzle. In spite of this, his ability to unleash bolts from the blue and small tornadoes should not be underestimated.
- “The wind don't got nuttin' on me, the High Octane Mustang!”: Kuzeztil is a quick one, able to speed about and run circles around much of his competition. As a racing Desert horse, there's a lot of lightning speed to his thunderous entrance. He often uses this to show off in addition to more practical uses.
WEAKNESSES
- Gone in a Flash: The parallels between Kuzeztil and a lightning strike don't stop with his strengths. While Kuzeztil comes in like a wrecking ball, he simply cannot follow through very well – aside from marathon running, Kuzeztil has a limited pool of reiatsu which he burns through extremely quickly.
BACKGROUND
Kuz wasn't always the douchebag the Duscae herd sees him as. At one point, Kuz was nervous, shy, and always picked on, one among an unknown unicorn herd. His fancy plumage was regarded as silly and showy, in spite of being all natural.
One day, he was cornered by several larger, more able members of the herd, who pushed him about – the situation escalated, and they ended up snapping off his horn after scuffling too much.
Ashamed of the loss of his horn, and fearing the loss of his magic, Kuz gathered the pieces of his horn and left. Over time, he was able to salvage the horn, and form it into a sort of necklace. He then exiled himself from the herd, unable to face his peers without the unicorn hallmark.
Having exiled himself from his home, he grew increasingly lonely, and had a lot of time to think. In the end, he blamed himself for vulnerabilizing himself to the bullies, and swore to himself that he would never make himself out to be a target like he did back then.
He wandered until coming across the Duscae herd. While it may have been unnecessary to do so, he passed himself as an Equus, refusing to acknowledge that he lost his horn in a fight.
He has since denied this so much, that he has all but forgotten about the initial incident. The memories of those days, that identity, are lost to his unconscious. The resulting incongruence in his memory has left him rather eccentric, and he struts about haughtily.
It isn't that Kuz can't back up his words, however. Kuz is a capable warrior, and defends his herd tooth and nail.
He has a soft spot for children, and often will stop to attempt to entertain and impress them so long as there is nothing significantly more pressing going on.
