Name: Hans Jayglas / "Bear Hans"
Gender: Male
Species: Were-Beast - Bear
APPEARANCE
Hans Jayglas is a shaggy 6’8” behemoth of a man. He wears the skin of a grizzly bear he slaughtered with his own ten massive fingers, and has a beard that reaches from the edge of where his nose meets the rest of his ugly mug all the way down to his massive pectoral muscles - which are covered by the massive pelt’s bear paws. Also, he wears the pelt of a large lion around his nether region - the lion’s head in a permanent roar in front of his crotch.
When he speaks, Hans refers to himself in the third person, and often makes various references to his various areas of fitness.

ABILITIES
- Yer a Wizard, Hans-y!: Hans is a Mage with a very specialized and limited skillset. Why he chose this specific mastery is a mystery. He possesses the ability to conjure hands of various sizes made of earth, fire, and/or lightning, which often explode on impact or upon reaching the limit of his reach. He can also enchant his only fists/claws with this energy. Lastly, he can also wear the rocks as makeshift armor. His favorite spell is “Fist of the Exploding Phoenix” - a fist made of stone which he has infused with so much fire and lightning reiatsu, that upon contact with any solid surface, it explodes with enough power to bring down buildings. It should be noted that none of his spell names are written on any scroll, and therefore are subject to being renamed whenever he calls out their names in combat. He claims that this quirk is part of the spell’s ritual. While he can access other tricks, they take a little longer for him to figure out how to utilize the elements in non-fist/armor form.
- Strength of the Bear: Hans’s power is maximum. He claims that the bear and lion he wears as clothing he killed at the same time by slamming their skulls together. No one who has contested this claim has lived to vouch against its validity.
- Brawler: Hans’s favored weapon is his own two hands. He claims that if he used any weapon, that would be unfair for his opponent. His skill speaks volumes about the validity of this claim, as he has demonstrated the ability to strike a tree and break it in half with a single backfist, and has also claimed to have grappled an Evylonian deer, and “piledrived” it into the ground horns first. According to him, this deer would have died from starvation before it could remove its head. However, the Hans is a merciful were-beast and freed it by yanking it out of the ground.
- Bear Form: Hans’s bear form increases his muscle mass and strength by a ludicrous amount, but he loses his access to more tactical forms of combat as well. Oddly enough, he can still enchant his claws and fangs with fire and lightning for devastating effects.
WEAKNESSES
- Honorable, but Arrogant: Hans is an honorable man who can over-estimate his own abilities. If challenged, he will rarely back down. While he does know his limits, he can be goaded into pushing them way too far by simple mockery and counter-boasting.
- Unmotivated: While hard-working, Hans doesn’t care about the fate of the world. While he will step in to intervene in local affairs, it is difficult to make him care about anything like dark gods or world destruction.
- Must Yell Out Attack Name: Hans must yell out the names of his spells. If he fails to do this, or simply cannot, the spell's potency is cut dramatically.
BACKGROUND
Hans Jayglas is a prodigy mage who cannot be arsed to actually care about any higher pursuits. Having abandoned his life in the lap of luxury, it was thought he met his end when a were-bear attacked him as he explored a nearby forest.
Years later, Hans Jayglas emerged from the same forest, but was no longer a human - instead, he was were-beast.
Yet, this endeavor had not dampened his spirit any. Instead, the man became fearless. However, he was no more motivated than when he was attacked, and now is content to wander the world, making good on simply the bear necessities for life.
Wherever he goes, he leaves a bit of the legend of a man they simply refer to as "Bear Hans, the Muscle Wizard."

Name: Thunderthrash (The Mountbreaker)
Species: Saurian (Empyrean Sub-Type)
Gender: Female
APPEARANCE
An 18 foot tall maroon-scaled T-rex with a yellow under-belly and orange stripes running down its sides and an iron saddle staked to its back, with a crown of spikes adorning its cranium, Thunderthrash is a truly intimidating sight to behold. With claws replaced with larger, longer darksteel constructs with razor sharp blades affixed to the ‘fingers’ and parts of her face plated with similar Empyrean procedures, as well as a spiked morningstar added to the end of its tail, Thunderthrash is not the sort of saurian you wish to cross.

ABILITIES
- Fire Breath: Contrary to her name, the dino breathes fire like a dragon. It can also use this to superheat its iron claws, which hold heat well.
- Darksteel Claws: Because tiny arms on a T-rex suck shit.
- Mountbreaker: Enhanced strength means this T-rex is capable of at least taking a chunk out of a cliff wall, even if ‘mountbreaker’ is possibly a hyperbole.
- Call Down the Thunder: Thunderthrash is also surprisingly fast for a lumbering saurian.
- Steel Scales: Thunderthrash shrugs off weaker projectiles due to her large size and thick scales.
WEAKNESSES
- Ice Age Extinction: Thunderthrash is weak to ice, being cold-blooded.
- Big Target: Also weak to incoming projectiles, such as meteorites. It should be noted that more mundane shit like arrows normally cannot pierce her thick scaly hide. Also means oftentimes she can’t be ridden indoors.
- No Reiatsu: Beyond her fire breath (which is due to flame sacs and more biologically based), Thunderthrash is incapable of reiatsu due to the empyrean procedure
BACKGROUND
Having been raised by Hans from hatching, Thunder has been one of his frequent sparring partners as well as loyal friend and mouth. At one point, she had her arms and bits of her face bitten off by a dragon. Desperate, Hans turned to some contacts at the mage tower to have her arms replaced with Empyrean constructs. Meanwhile, he left and confronted the dragon. It is rumored that he punched the dragon so hard that when it landed, the earth quaked as if it were hit by thunder, the ground tremoring under its deaththroes thrashing - at about this time, Thunder awoke. When upon his hearing this event, he claimed the aforementioned rumor was not only true, but it would be the basis of Thunderthrash’s new moniker.
The procedure has left her with lots of anger which can be brought up by a significant amount of pain. This can cause Thunderthrash to...well, thrash about as she goes berserk. At such moments, it is up to Hans to beat her unconscious with a well-placed fist to the face.
Her temperament is gruff and blunt - and contrasting Hans's demeanor, she is anything but jolly.
