Sedna
BASICS
Name: Sedna
Gender: Female
Species: Minotaur/Bosen
Appearance: 6'6” and 540 lbs may seem menacing to most species, but for a minotaur, that’s a runt. It is due to her size that she is considered virtually non-existent by most minotaurs due to the comparative size difference. Normally, she wears a leather gladiator harness - the chest piece is expanded to keep a sense of dignity.
Her minotaur fur is a dark muddy brown color, rather unexceptional among her people, and her hair is a shade lighter, often done up in a loosely, sloppily braided ponytail with two equally sloppy braided tails hanging along her gaunt cheeks. Her horns are somewhere between a typical male's and female's.
Every fiber of her body leans more bull-ish muscle than cow-ish fat, and she has a few scars which she has earned in combat or as punishment - notably around the stomach, arms, shoulder, and thighs.

ABILITIES
- Peak Physical Form: Sedna is a force of nature, and can easily match the blows of ogres and giants. Although she is a runt, she has made up for this in tenacity and training - even when she’s outmatched in sheer physical prowess, she often has an agility and skill advantage over many other minotaurs.
- Persistence: Sedna is a tenacious fighter, and has been known to fight through even the pain of crippled limbs. This, of course, does not make her invulnerable, but it does mean that an opponent should make sure she's really down before considering her out.
- Orcish Double-Axe: Sedna’s favored weapon is an orcish double-axe - a shaft with an axe-head on each end. In a pinch, she can separate the shaft in the middle and dual-wield both axes with deftness and strength in spades.
- Hand-to-Hand: Even when she’s without her weapon, Sedna is not helpless. Having been a scrappy brawler from youth, she’s a formidable opponent even when simply using her fists.
WEAKNESSES
- Sucker: Sedna is easily taunted and baited, often playing the bull to a smarter opponents’ matador. While she isn’t stupid, she hates backing down from a challenge and is easily enraged by opponents seeming to not take her seriously. While most opponents who participate in this generally get beaten into a pulp, someone with enough skill to match their trickery could easily use this to Sedna’s detriment.
- Gruff: Sedna can have decent etiquette, but she often chooses to keep others at a distance. This puts her at a disadvantage in social situations.
- One-Track: When Sedna sets her sights on something she thinks is the right course of action, it can be difficult to persuade her otherwise. If she thinks somebody or something needs punching, that thing can consider itself punched more often than not. This makes her a poor teammate or follower.
BACKGROUND
Born as the result of a Bosen/Thaben pairing, Sedna took after her father's Thaben wanderlust early on. Not that she had much choice since her family was exiled. Wanting nothing to do with her race as a result, she wandered in search of her own fortune, becoming a blade for hire, though dealing little with other minotaurs and often working more alongside other mercenaries rather than with them.
However, at some point in her wanderings, her temper got the better of her in a tavern after some drunken sailors made some comments about how she was too small for a minotaur man but just big enough for them. This tavern, unfortunately, was owned by a powerful merchant.
Given a choice between turning herself into the hands of the law or working off the damages under the merchant, she chose the latter as to save a little face. Unfortunately, this Merchant was a part of an organized group of merchants, traders, and sailors, known as the Fellowship, which helped cover for each other’s shady dealings. Working under this particular merchant meant she was now a slave.
To make matters worse, one of the sailors was the merchant’s son. And he made sure to let Sedna know of her new, lowly position underneath his heel as much as he could spare the time to do so.
This particular merchant owned a small, underground coliseum hosted underneath the tavern, known as “The Bloody Pits," located near Ghero's Folly in Millirand. Sedna’s species along with her prowess earned her the respect of the crowds as well as the name “The Pit’s Bull.” Unfortunately, due to the shady dealings of the merchant, she is no closer to freedom than the day she started. Her life has lost all meaning in her own eyes, and she now lives for the sake of living. If there is hope of freedom, she doesn't see it.
In spite of her discarding her Minotaur heritage, she often keeps her honor safeguarded, even in the Bloody Pits, where she often chooses to spare her opponent, to the chagrin of the bloodthirsty patrons and staff.
Recently, she has been picked up by a new master, Balthazar - what his plans for her are remain to be seen.
